It's starting to get hot! The tournament started with the
air temp at 75, water temp at 71, wind around 10MPH from the South, and partly
cloudy skies. We ended the tournament with the air temp around 90, water
temp at 72, no change in the wind, and sunny. A total of 30 fish weighed
45.97 pounds.
The winning team reported catching their fish
on main lake points with submerged trees and coves with schoolies busting
shad. Spinner baits worked best in the morning. Flukes produced the
majority of their fish the rest of the day and Scott managed some fish on wacky
rigged finesse worms.
