The "how to" sessions pay
off! Allen used a fluke technique that he learned during the "how
to" session presented at one of the club meetings to catch the winning
stringer. This was the first time Allen and James placed 1st. They
reported catching their fish before 9:30AM on the drop offs around Windy Point
using sinking flukes. The fish were holding in 23 - 30 foot of
water. Big bass of the tournament was caught on a blue fleck worm flipped
in the brush up the river.
