The tournament started with the air temp in
the low 70's, water temp at 82, wind at 5MPH from the South, and partly cloudy
skies. We ended the tournament with the air temp in the mid 90's, water
temp at 83, wind at 5 - 10MPH from the South, and partly cloudy skies. A
total of 28 fish weighed 44.96 pounds.
The winning team reported catching their fish
early in the morning on top water around main lake points. The fish were
reacting to a fast retrieve. One member of the winning team had a limit by
8:00AM. Later in the day, they caught fish up the river. Big bass of
the tournament was caught on a spinner bait early in the morning near the dam.
