There were some tired fisherman after the end
of this 13 hour night tournament. The tournament started with the air temp
at 92, water temp at 84, a light wind from the South and cloudy skies. We
had scattered thunderstorms and light rain during the first few hours of the
tournament. The tournament ended with the air temp at 85, water temp at
84, a light wind from the South and mostly cloudy skies. A total of 39
bass weighed 54.99.
The first place team reported catching their
fish on Norman DLN crank baits and Lake Fork craw worms. They started on
the dam at the lower end and finished up the Colorado arm. Big bass of the
tournament was caught on a crank bait on the rip rap of the lighthouse on the
lower end. The second place team reported catching their fish on power
worms, flukes, and shad imitation baits around docks at the split in the river.
