A windy day made for tough fishing conditions.  The tournament started with the air temp in the mid 60's, water temp at 74, wind from the N at 15 - 20MPH, and clear skies.  The tournament ended with the air temp in the low 90's, water temp at 76, wind from the N at 15 - 20MPH, and clear skies.  A total of 19 bass weighed 30.51.

The first place team reported catching their fish on crank baits, drop shot rigs, and wacky worm rigs.  They also had big bass of the tournament and it was caught on a wacky worm in 3' of water.  The second place team reported catching their fish flipping the trees in Cowhouse on Texas rigged and Carolina rigged watermelon gold glitter brush hogs.  They also found some schooling action around 1:00 close to the Gatesville pump house.  All of the schooling fish caught were short fish.
