High pressure caused a tough bite. The
tournament started with the air temp at 55, water temp at 72, a light wind from
the NE, and blue bird skies. The tournament ended with the air temp at 85,
water temp at 72, a light wind from the NE, and sunny skies. A total of 38
bass weighed 41.63.
The 1st place team reported catching their
fish on docks with Daimon finesse jigs and light weight baby brush hogs in
watermelon seed colors. The 2nd place team reported catching their fish in
one cove on chartreuse pepper wacky worms. Big bass of the tournament was
caught on a dock using a watermelon seed baby brush hog Texas rigged with a 1/8
oz weight.
