We enjoyed a peaceful day
on the lake. With the less than perfect weather conditions for
the ciggies and lake lice, we had minimal lake traffic to contend
with. The air temp ranged from 63 to 70, water temp was 64, a
light NE wind, and overcast skies mixed with a few drizzling
showers. A total of 27 bass weighed 45.69.
The 1st place team
reported catching their fish in shallow water on plum wacky
worms. The 2nd place team reported catching their fish in the
back of coves on green spinner baits, Pop-R's, and Carolina rigged
lizards. The 2nd place team also had big bass. It was
caught on the green spinner bait.
