If you are a fair weather
fisherman, you should have stayed in bed. The rain started with
the tournament and finally let up around noon. The tournament
started with the air temp at 58, the water temp at 64, no wind, fog,
and rain. The tournament ended with the air temp at 66, the
water temp at 64, wind from the SW at 15 - 20, and cloudy skies.
A total of 71 bass weighed 152.09.
The 1st place team
reported catching their fish on black and blue baby brush hogs, black
and blue c-rigged lizards, and gold shallow running crank baits.
They caught fish in shallow and deep water. Big bass was caught
on a black and blue baby brush hog in 3' of water. The 2nd place
team caught their fish in the shallow grass on wacky worms and jigs.
