The air temp ranged from 75 to 93,
water temp ranged from 81 to 82, wind from the SE ranging from 5 - 10,
and overcast skies turning mostly cloudy. A total of 31 bass
weighed 51.95.
The 1st place team and big bass
winners reported catching their fish on flukes, spinner baits, and
craw worms. Bill threw a fluke all day long to catch his 3
keepers including the big bass. Scott caught his 2 fish on a
spinner bait and craw worm. The 2nd place team reported catching
their fish on crank baits, flukes, and lizards. They started on
the main lake and Dean caught 1 keeper before daylight on a crank
bait. His 2nd keeper was caught on a fluke early in the morning.
They decided to abandon the main lake and Dean caught 3 more keepers
flipping a watermelon seed lizard in trees standing in 4 - 5' of
water.
