The tournament started with the air
temp in the high 80's, water temp in the mid 80's, no wind, and partly
cloudy skies. The tournament ended with the air temp in the low
80's, water temp in the mid 80's, no wind, and clear skies. A
total of 71 fish weighed 178.13.
The 1st place team caught most of
their fish on Florida rigged Red Shad/Green Flake 10" worms.
They targeted water less than 9' and had success swimming the big worm
through the grass. The 2nd place team and big bass winners also
caught their fish on 10" Texas rigged worms equipped with rattles.
