The tournament started with the air

skies. The tournament ended with the air temp at 91, water temp
at 79, SSE wind at 15MPH, and partly cloudy skies. A total of 45

The first place team fished the
upper end of the lake. They caught shallow fish up to 9:15a on
white flukes, watermelon red flukes, and light c-rigged Senkos.
All of the morning fish were caught in the shallow flooded willows.
After the morning bite, they fished deep brush piles and picked up
bigger fish. The second place team (man) fished mid lake and
also had a good morning bite shallow. He had his limit by 9:00a
on a light c-rigged Minnow Flash. He also reported catching
shallow fish all day long on the same rig. Big bass was caught
on a fluke in 6' of water. Curt worked the fluke over a laydown
and the fish nailed it as he brought it over.
