Rain, rain, and more rain was the talk of this tournament.  For those who expected to sight fish for Lake Austin's monster bass, it was a disappointment.  Only two anglers brought in a limit.  Jimmy Lynn is on a roll and finds a way to stay on top of the angler of the year race.  His tournament limit included a 9.34 kicker that not only won big bass of the tournament, but put him on top for big bass of the year.  A total of 53 bass weighed 121.97.

The 1st place team and big bass winners fished the mouths of creeks and secondary points.  They caught staging fish next to rocky structure.  The big bass was caught on a horny toad type bait.  The 2nd place team looked for bedding fish on the lower end, but only had 4 keepers by 2pm.  They caught their other 3 fish right before weigh-in by using crankbaits and covering water.
