A total of 61 bass weighed 117.34
The 1st place team ran multiple patterns that worked. Before
dark, they concentrated on secondary points and the mouths of
creeks. They knew it was going to be a good tournament when
the 1st cast produced a keeper. After dark, they
concentrated on the submerged green lights and docks with indirect
light. All fish were caught on T-rigged brush hogs, flukes,
and swim baits. They also had big bass which was caught on a
swim bait over a submerged green light. The 2nd place team
fished the lower end of the lake. They started on wind blown
points with spinner baits. After dark they hit the green
lights and caught blacks mixed in with the whites. At
daylight, they caught fish on spinner baits, flukes, and crank
baits. |
